The song that inspired me to start playing cello

Here’s a short cello cover of the song Secrets by OneRepublic, thanks for listening! Hearing this song for the first time inspired me to start playing the cello at age 11. Below is a school assignment I wrote as a teenager about that experience:

(As a young boy Caleb was very active and couldn’t stop moving. He got into music at a young age when his parents set him up with his first piano lessons to release some energy. Caleb didn’t like practicing the piano, but he liked listening to popular music. When he was around 11 years old, he saw a live performance of OneRepublic’s hit Secrets on TV and realized he wanted to play the cello like the guy in their band. He asked his mom if he could switch to the cello. He was very fortunate to learn from a wonderful local teacher who taught him until college. This teacher helped inspire him as a musician and streamline his passion and raw energy.)
