Four Years in Nashville, Looking Back on 2024

When I moved to Nashville in 2020, I had no idea how much this city would shape me—not just in my music, but in my life as a whole. What started as a leap of faith turned into a time of growth, learning, and incredible experiences. I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, the people I’ve met, and the music I’ve created along the way.

From gigs and recording sessions to teaching and learning new styles of music, my time here as a cellist has been amazing. I’ve had the privilege to work with talented, versatile, and hardworking string players, musicians, artists, and producers who’ve inspired me to grow. Whether arranging strings, playing live, or experimenting in the studio, every collaboration has been a valuable learning experience.

Teaching has also become a big part of my journey, from working with private cello students to teaching group string classes at a K-8 school. Sharing music has deepened my passion for it and reminded me how much more there is to explore. As 2025 begins, I’m taking a moment to reflect on some of the highlights from last year.
